Ms Cammie Westerman

I support HASS student’s employability by providing opportunities for students to engage with a range of industry professionals and UQ HASS Alumni. Projects include:

• HASS Connect Mentoring Program: students have the opportunity to discuss study and career goals, identify potential career pathways, develop professional networks, and more.
• HASS Career Seminar Series: facilitated Q&A panels give students the opportunity to ask questions and hear from industry and alumni on how their study area can be translated into employment after graduation. 

I completed a dual Bachelor of Psychology and Bachelor of Business where I was heavily involved in student clubs and various university programs which I thoroughly enjoyed and valued the opportunities for personal growth. As I got more involved, I started facilitating experiences for other students and love that became my day job.
