Andrea Hellens

Andrea is a casual academic and current PhD student in the School of Education. She has over 30 years’ experience in Education in the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Her career has mostly been in schools as a classroom teacher and member of senior management teams. Her current research is looking at creative thinking in the classroom. She also has worked as a research assistant both in the Education School at UQ and Melbourne University. Andrea has a Bachelor and Master of Arts from Dundee University, Scotland and a Post-Graduate Teaching Qualification from Leeds University, UK.
